Happy Thanksgiving to our SCH Academy Basketball Family and Friends.  Have a terrific day.  We are thankful that your are in our lives and for the strength of the positive relationships that comprise our program.  We continue to embrace the process, love the grind, and make "winning the day" our priority.

First Week

Program Description and Core Values

As we approach the start of practice in mid-November, it's with great excitement that I post what our program is all about.  This info can be found on the SCH.org website as well.

The SCH Academy basketball program strives to excel at the highest competitive level locally, regionally, and nationally. In the name of excellence, SCH Academy basketball aims for a level of athletic performance that will produce winning seasons and opportunities to compete for team championships in the Philadelphia Inter-Ac League as well as the PAISAA.  

While exemplifying the standards of a championship organization on the court, in the community, and in the classroom, we intend to achieve and project a positive image for SCH Academy while being committed to integrity and the academic success of our players.

Student-athletes work hard to realize collective and individual goals including intercollegiate competition and beyond. Our foundation in our quest for excellence is rooted in the these core values:

1. Process – Commit to a work ethic that builds skill, strength, and sense (court sense).
2. Passion – Commit to excellence.
3. Unity – Do not divide our house; team first.
4. Elevate Others – Make teammates better; lead by giving.
5. Enthusiasm – Show and share your enjoyment for teamwork, competition, and winning!

Senior Day

Thanks to all who made Senior day and our final home game a success. The Class of 2014 has some special young men. 

Our journey continues on Friday at Westtown at 7pm. Go Devils!

Schedule Change

Saturday's game vs Shipley has been moved to Tuesday 2/11 - JV at 4pm and Varsity at 5:30PM.

Happy 2014

Thank you to all who assisted with the two tournaments that we hosted over the past few weeks.

We begin Inter-Ac play this Saturday -7pm vs GA at Philadelphia University. 

Tickets will be sold at the door, or you can contact me if you want to get them in advance. 

As we move into 2014, we will be encouraging each other to ask three questions of ourselves. 

1. What do we want?

2. What do we need?

3. What's standing in our way?
